How to apply online if partially unemployed?
I couldn't do this online because EDD is asking a concrete date when you started to work and when you had quit the work and for what reason you quit.
So there's no option to let EDD know that I'm still working on one job but lost the other job.

Just trying to get through all the PASSWORDS! I can never get it right! Even if I have the correct password the program says it is wrong and I can not continue. Are they doing this to discourage a person to file for edd?

I filed in early May but my hours were reduced, I still haven't heard anything back from EDD and have not been able to get through on the phone. I'm down to $29.00 in my savings...should I try to file again?

I applied on July 7th 2020 it's about to be 4 weeks on august 4th. I havent received anything. My brother also applied for it way before me and hasn't received anything. I tried calling the numbers on the paper I was given at the unemployment office and nobody is answering. They said keep trying, but the machines say it's too busy we cant help goodbye. I'm getting frustrated please show us a way to speak to a representative I dont need to speak to a machine I need actual help in figuring out why we havent received anything is it even being looked at. And might i inform you that i did my application online.

My sister and I filed our claim a little later after we were both laid off due to COVID which was around March and we filled around May. I was looking at her claim and she was being paid for March, April and May and I was only paid starting from May. Do any of you guys know why?

Can you still get benefits if yiur on ssi for disability however u were self employed on the side?

I applied and it says im eligible thru mail. I even got a customer acc number. When i try to certify my account it says my account doesn’t exist or my social security #!! is anybody having the same problem? Then to top it off nobody answers the phones!

if you are unavailable to work for one week, and one week only, does that mean you dont qualify for benefits for all the other weeks you were able to work and actively searching for work?

What about someone who was misclassified by their employer, filed before pandemic? And I assume my application confused EDD since I filled out the app exactly how an employee would (not an independent contractor the way my employer intentionally illegally classified me.) I imagine they are confused not only on whether I was an employee or not, but also, after looking at my social security, I found out that there is no record of me working for this employer! This employer has screwed me over in more ways than one and is also a slumlord who makes the tenants that live on his properties suffer. He is breaking so many laws and because EDD has still not gotten back to me to investigate the application I sent in a year ago now, he continues to get away with all that he continues to do. Ruining peoples lives and fraud on the IRS. I have wrote many letters to different government agencies including EDD and still, nothing has changed. Does this employer run the government? lol I don't understand.

I do my recertification ONLINE but there is no question asking "are you avaible to work?" I only see were u too sick or injured to work?" ...my certification has been pending since the beginning if june :( ... no childcare or schools to help babysit my kids so I can go work and make money :(
