You might often hear it said that things aren’t made like they used to be, but that isn’t always a bad thing. Many modern vehicles are vastly superior to what came before them, but we don’t think that’s the case in every scenario. Even the auto-subtitles thinks he says "chains count".

And the fact that any cars have this thing now? It has been driving me crazy, because it must be some simple thing. My best guess was that it was a bad translation, since "chain" is a unit of measurement is some countries. So I thought it might be a reference to the trip odometer... which could be "turned back". Of course all cars have those today, it is not missing from any of them, let alone "majority".

I also thought the front seats could be "turned around", because some cars did and do have that feature, so that the people in the front can face the back, when the car is parked, for picnics or talks or whatever.

But I'm sure my guesses are wrong.

The narrators pronunciation is often wrong... for instance in the Lada section he also calls headlights "headlines", and so on. Anyone have a clue what he is saying here? Thanks...

The tanks who are sunken in the ground you see in the part of meppen. Are not there but they are in aken germany. The tanks in meppen are garded by military police who drives sometimes around. They have send me away. There are some gates with now entry but they are open and many people are walking around there.
