How I cut Plexiglass on a table saw #shorts

This is how I cut plexiglass on a table saw. I use painters table to help the blade make a smooth cut without chipping or cracking the plexiglass.

That piece of wood on top is key, vibration of the plexiglass will cause cracking and chipping.

Ive tried the tape thing, but never thought to put a backboard on top. That made the difference for me!

Works great for anything less than a foot-long 18 inches long

**this also works well with a miter saw! For extra protection, I like to use two pieces of 1/2" plywood and sandwich the plexiglass between them. Perfect cuts!
