If you have melasma, stop making the following mistakes:
🚫 using formula creams which have harsh chemicals. These creams claim to make you fairer but in reality, they just damage your skin permanently!
🚫 getting dermapen & other simple micro-needling treatments. As explained in our previous post, this can cause an inflammatory reaction causing your melasma to worsen!
🚫 being inconsistent with sunblock application i.e, forgetting to apply, not applying indoors or when the weather’s cloudy. You need to wear sunblock at all times where there is sunlight!
🚫 using over the counter hydroquinone creams & chemical peels! These items are only to be used under a doctor’s prescription & can potentially harm your skin if not in expert hands!
