Welcome to this budget travel series of adventure and kindness, through the Balkan countries. Apo from Around the Good World is traveling the around the Balkans, having only 200€ in his pocket for 2 months!

On this episode, I left Sarajevo the capital of Bosnia & Herzegovina for Mostar again. I stayed at Mario's couchsurfing house there and I also met Irfan who showed me around and did my laundry! After 2 days, I started hitchhiking my way to Montenegro. Let's say that it wasn't that easy to hitchhike on that route, so I had to sleep in a football field, at a random village before next day that finally arrived close to the border and decided to take the bus from there, all the way to Kotor. It was inside the bus station, when this incident with this drunk guy happened and destroyed my mood, to arrive some hours later in Kotor...

Great video with ups and downs but you manage to get in track again! I had a bad experience travelling alone in Morocco but I thought about the other good things that have happened to me there and that compensate the "scary situations". Just keep safe and happy!! Thanks :D

When I was younger and during the Cold War, of course I never would have thought of listening a place like this, but if I had the money and the means and was able to these days, I'd be traveling all sorts of places. From what I can tell my mother things Bosnia looks like a very interesting country

Anytime I go back revisiting Sarajevo, the lovely city I grew up in since I was ten, Burek Forino is my inevitable quick snack place. Albanians, one of the traditional communities in Sarajevo present in Bosnia ay least since the Ottoman times, have been traditionally known as masters of Burek and other pastry shops, and owners of most and some of the best Burek restaurants and bakeries in Sarajevo (and in the Balkans too), including Burek Forino. That's just one part of multicultural Sarajevo.

This title is just click bait, Bosnia is very safe country, it's safer then Spain, France, Italy or many other popular tourist destinations

Hey! We hitchhiked around this area last year and it was the same thing, some days it was super easy and other days were really tough. Sorry you had a shitty experience... One thing we learnt on the road is that something great can turn into something bad very fast and that something bad can turn out to be something great in the end! With that said we still had way more good experiences than bad and we hitchhiked all the way from Thailand to Spain 😀😀😀 We love your editing style and music choices. Great stuff, keep up the good work!

Just to point out, you didn't bluer out Mario's shy face at 3:32. You can clearly see his face at this moment. :/

If you think it was the camera alone that irritated him to the point of threatening violence you're probably mistaken.

This is bullshit. If you don't see how a title like this can cause prejudices, you're being ignorant. Bosnia is a very safe country in comparison with most of Western Europe, with minority and gender rights being much more equal than in Italy or France. The fact is that people in Bosnia won't shy away to confront you if you put the camera in their face is with a very good reason. Growing up in Bosnia during the war we had so many journalist scavengers coming over and twisting people's stories in the worst of ways in order to shock and awe the audiences abroad, that they just made the conflict worse. People, therefore, learned not to be pulled in that kind of stuff and can be more sensitive than expected by foreigners. I am still sorry that you had bad experience, but I understand that cultural differences can contribute, especially if you don't speak common language.
