Add a bottom drain that gravity feeds to a pool outside his enclosure. Then you can run that water through a bog plant filter to outcompete that planktonic algae so you have clear water

My suggestion is get a very big colander shaped dome that has small holes to let the water flow through but have the dome also be big enough that Soni’s mouth can’t get all the way around it. The shape, size, and size of the holes should make it so Soni can’t get a good hold on it so they couldn’t bite through it. I don’t know much about alligators but as far as logical solutions based on the facts shown in this video I think it’s pretty good.
