I had caught a baby gator, and eventually, he became just like this one. He knew when I walked up with the feed bucket that it was time to eat and he'd come running. If I didn't have the bucket, sometimes he'd come over, and sometimes he wouldn't. They are so much more intelligent than we think they are.

He visto a varias personas que han logrado tener un nivel de acercamiento asombroso con estos animales que normalmente son letales. Y lo que he notado es que la mirada de estos animales se ve relajada e incluso pareciera que se están riendo, al distinguir a alguien que aprecian. Siento que en ese aspecto y sin dejar de guardar distancia tienen similitud con animales domésticos que con el día a día se puede ganar su confianza.
