Jonah: What incredible timing on this video! Today, I was finally able to get back into my normal practice after losing three weeks due to my wife's hip replacement surgery. Here is some interesting info for your viewers because I just did my first Overblows today before I saw this video. I was doing my normal scales and Hole #5 draw was not working at all. I took my Hohner Rocket Amp apart and there was a chin hair caught in it. Since it was already apart, I gapped all the holes again. I am just learning bending, but I was able to finally bend Holes #1, 2, 3, 4 and 6. Then, I thought "Why not try an Overblow?" which is basically doing a blow bend. I tried and finally did Holes #8, 9, 10. First time ever! Each Overblow only lasted for a few seconds, but I finally did it after many months of trying. BTW, I only use tongue blocking for playing. I am a beginning player and tongue blocking is not easy to learn, but well worth it in the long run. Thanks again for this incredible video and I hope some of your many viewers can learn from my novice experience. Cheers!

Your agility choosing and playing scales is impressive... That's the stuff that tough to teach...🎶🎵☝️

Q U E S T I O N --- Hi, Jonah, in one of your generous videos I noticed a CX12 chromatic. What do you think about that peculiar design of chromatic harmonica? Have you opened it to adjust or re-adjust any of the reeds? Did you find the CX12 in the picture almost 100% playable out of the box to your satisfaction or you had to tweak it? Thanks for your response and the videos on YT.

Q U E S T I O N --- Sorry to bother you again. I forgot to ask you "What percentage of the diatonics you play in performances do you find them OUT OF THE BOX optimally to your satisfaction and need no tweaking of the reeds, and do you believe in letting a brand new harmonica to "break in" rather than tampering with a lesser-used reed or two that are not yet readily perfect? Thanks, again for everything, and best wishes with your endeavors.
