Hey y'all! Today's video is a super yummy pasta dish. We are making some creamy and cheesy orzo! You can make this exactly like I did and have an amazing side dish, or you can add something like chicken and/or broccoli and make it a main dish. You can't go wrong either way!!

Creamy Orzo
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 1/2 cups shredded parmesan, divided
1 cup mozzarella, shredded
1 pound orzo
season to taste
Preheat oven to 350. Cook orzo according to package directions (minus 1 minute) and then drain. While the pasta is cooking, add the heavy cream and garlic to a small sauce pan. Bring to almost a simmer, but do not boil. Once it's hot, remove from heat and add in 1 cup of the parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Season to taste with salt and pepper. I also added garlic and onion powder. You can use whatever seasoning you like. Pour the sauce over the drained orzo and stir well. Add additional seasonings if needed. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of parmesan and the mozzarella over the top. Bake for about 15 mins or until the cheese is melted and browned slightly. I baked for 15 mins and then broiled for about 30 seconds. I also added some chopped chives before serving for a little onion flavor. This would be great with some grilled chicken and/or steamed broccoli!
