That scoop tool looks pretty useless but you're the expert. Why not just use a sterile razor and dig the wart out over repeated treatments. I have a nasty small one on my face, I'm using Compound W, the wart has been here for at least 30 years. I've lanced it several times until I figured out it was not acne, it just kept coming back. I will keep at it for the next 3 months or more to get rid of it. I'll keep you all posted after I get it gone.

I used to have a wart about a quart inch round on my upper right corner of my forehead. I twisted it off and it stayed gone for a year. Then the root got wider, and it grew right back. I kept ripping and tearing it off as it regrew. I fought that damn wart fir about 3 years. It wasnt until i dug it out with my fingernail as deep as i could, that it stopped growing. But the only way it stopped growing was when after i scooped it out, i had to pinch the little hole closed by hand, and i had to hold a lot if tension on it for about 4 hours until it sealed up. Because anytime i let it dry up without closing in, it just grew right back. It was embarrassing, as i used to wear a bandana or hats to hide it. Until one day i was sleeping over at a friend's house, that a young lady pulled my bandana off in my sleep, and i heard her say ohhh... And giggled, then she never brought it up again.she was nice, she just thought i was trying to act cool with my dumb bandana.

Wish I had of found this vid a year ago, started with one, then more, then more, maybe a dozen now. Only been treating with some sort of over the counter acid treatment but they won't go away, they reduce slightly and then over time find a second life, calling a dermatologist tomorrow, thank you.

Hi Dr. How can we prevent warts from recurring ? Is there any permanent treatment for it? Once it's removed by dermatologist it reappears after a month in the same spot on cheek. I've been suffering since last 6 months. I really need advise on how to cure it permanently.

What is the difference between facial warts that shed skin and those that don't? My niece has both, in close proximity in her upper cheek. The one that doesn't shed is lighter than her skin color and flat.

I've had facial warts ever since I can remember and I just hate them. They are basically all over my cheeks, and forehead. I've already been to two dermatologist and both diagnosed me with flat warts. But the first doc told me that even if I get laser treatment to remove them there's still quite a great chance that they will come back. Mage said that once I have the virus it's going to stay with me forever and I have to keep on coming back for laser treatments. How is that possible if they don't have roots?
