Nigel Cook, MRCVS, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine presents “An update on cooling and ventilation for dairy cattle”

This webinar provides an update on our latest research exploring the impact of air speed on cow behavior and performance and introduces an approach to ventilation assessments using air speed mapping. The discussion summarizes the main ventilation trends in the dairy industry and explore the pros and cons of each design. Dairy barns vary in size and shape, and we need to employ a range of ventilation system solutions to meet the needs of the cow while minimizing the cost to the producer. The webinar is sponsored by Tunnel Plus.

Ironically a lot of this applies to humans who work in large, open warehouse spaces without air conditioning or in hot climates as well!
