Hypergamy is real...and women who have been off the dating market for decades honestly think they can do better than what they have. Also, imo, women go through mid-life crises like men. Either with menopause or with their kids leaving home, they get restless. They question their lives...but instead of taking responsibility and changing themselves, they blame-shift. They blame their marriage, and so they leave. These women often wind up regretting their decisions, when they realize that nothing better is out here waiting for them in their 40s.

For 6, 000 years of recorded human history women have married at 16 or so.

It is because of the anti male family court system incentivizing it monetarily. And because of feminism encouraging it.

My neighbor did this. The guy is tall, handsome, and makes good money. She had a fling with a guy at work, left and thought she'd get to use the kids as leverage. She was getting drunk and running through guys. She was proud of this and told everyone; she told me it was at least 50. Amazingly the judge listened to character witnesses and the husband got full custody and she got supervised visits. Now she lives across town alone with her cat and STDs.

Many years ago before she became my ex and we already had a child, I told her that we need to take care of each other and maintain a healthy relationship and our kid(s) will naturally grow up in a healthy loving environment. She said "our daughter is number one." I didn't have more kids with her and moved on a few years after that. For the most part in my experience, it's hard to connect with women logically and they feel like they have to make statements like that in order to feel like a good mom. Then they try to ACT like a good MOM and ACTUALLY become POOR ROLE MODELS.

This was my question to Rich .
My wife and I were together 15 years before we got married, 2015 she started meeting up again with her old school buddies after 20 years of not seeing them .
And slowly the dynamics of our relationship changed, her skirts got shorter, her tops got low and I was loving this new sexy image she was showing me and the world, she started going out more and more, even girls weekends, while I was taking care of the kids and the home.
Then the tattoos, against my advice for her not to get them, she became more and more separated from us as a family and it became like I had another daughter, she was in her early 40s at this time.
This made me very weak, were I had been very strong as the leader, I was suffering with an illness at the time and wasn't up to dealing it all.
Over the next few years she carried on going out nearly every night, she decided, to start getting botox, a boob job and talk me into getting us a new car, we are talking a lot of money for the income we had coming in.
We had savings but that was for emergency or for as we got older.
Once the pot was empty and she had her monkey branch, she broke up with me !
I know I need to take my part in this, but I was a wonderful husband and fantastic father to our children.
We could of worked things out and I would of manned up if she even gave it a chance but she left my arse on the streets and took everything I had worked for.
Left broken hearted, with not a pot to piss in, left wondering how it got to this place !
I have written this so men will learn from my mistakes, which are many !

Been there done that. After firing 3rd attorney, represented self. As incompetent as I am, generally faired better. State is for more state power. Intact families are an obstacle to that. Abandoning marriage is surrender to the evil state. Happily remarried for 4 years. Nicer, more attractive, 10 years younger. I don't clean or do laundry and weight is becoming a challenge because the food is good and a lot. I do work pretty hard on occasion.
