NEW PlayStation Portal update changes EVERYTHING!

Even more importantly, this new update seems to have solved the micro stutter problem! This is a *huge* fix

Spawn could you make a full video explaining it thoroughly. Things like if you use console share and offline play and are in regions that doesn’t include cloud streaming on ps plus deluxe

This update also fixes the micro stutter due to the bit rate. I know for a fact that it’s been updated to better console streaming as well because my games are running now without lag spikes

I used the cloud streaming today and it’s a fantastic leap forward . Only weird thing is that the PlayStation button doesn’t work inside the streaming games to bring you out of them. It’s still Beta though.

Ah they should have made that ps portal cloud streaming feature available to all players regardless of if they have plus or plus premium😭

it's most useful feature being locked behind a monthly subscription is kinda terrible. and its the highest tier one as well. if you could just cloud stream your library that would be huge. but this thing still seems kinda redundant unless you're already subscribed and activity use premium.

For the people who complain that it’s not running on-device. This is an accessory that costs the same as a couple of controllers. It’s really great value for what it is, and for me, one of the best gaming purchases I’ve ever made.

God it's such a smart move.... they invoke a scenario where buyers need to pay a monthly subscription to use the device, which they already paid for, and it seems like a generous move by them. No sarcasm, it's brilliant.

I have this as of two days ago. The difference is that you can STREAM games from the PSN via the cloud but you can’t play your own catalog unless you link your own PS5 to it. It works flawlessly though. Love it!
