I’ve owned an iPhone through every single “gate” era and literally never once had an issue with any of em. So maybe I’m a bit biased. I’ll admit it. But my experience dictates to me that apple is incredibly solid and reliable.

I wonder if the iPad issue would be noticed as much if the new iPhone didn’t have promotion? Possibly going back to a 60hz device would suddenly spotlight the issue you didn’t notice previously?

I can't tell you the number of issues I've had when I had a Windows phone. Microsoft never addressed them and just ditched its customers. Apple at least recalls and fixes issues.

Im not worried about these touch gate etc I personally think thats what other companies are exactly doing painting apple 🍎 in a bad light

Every phone manufacturer including Apple has issues with some of their phones or OS release. And Apple is not immune to that. It's always good to admit one's mistakes and learn from them and fix them. And I do not think people are trying to paint Apple in a bad light. These are genuine concerns. And haters will always be there.

I’ve had quite a few different iPhone models, and I’m currently using two phones. One is a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, the other is a iPhone 12 Pro Max. In my opinion the iPhones are a superior device to use, as far as stability is concerned. Having said that I’m not a iPhone fan boy, nor am I a fan boy for anything else. It’s just my personal opinion that my iPhones have provided me with a better experience. I love both of my phones though, just in different ways. 👍👍

I think there is always some “…Gate” ready to happen with Apple because people always try to look for things to pull Apple down from the number one spot; If you stand outside and tell everyone it’s going to rain, eventually you’ll be right.
To be fair, TouchGate and BendGate could have been avoided with testing. I agree, Apple can do better. There is always room for improvement. That’s why we have iterative updates annually, if the iPhone 4 were perfect, we would not be at iPhone 13. Holding Apple to an unfair standard (perfection), will only lead to disappointments. Remember, even perfection has its flaws to someone’s eyes.

I have no issues @ all, I have my XR working excellently!!.. no touch issues, no hanging, nothing. I am surprised to hear that Apple has so many “gates” issues!!! Surprising!! Thank goodness I didn’t buy the 13 then!! I am so happy with my XR, and my XR is good until 2023, so until then, thanks but no thanks.

My 13 Pro Max 256 has 4-5 times not registered touch, I refresh the screen and it works fine. I’m concerned but patient enough to allow Apple time to address it and come up w a plan

I don’t care touch gate issue. I’m happy with my 13 pro max for the massive battery and 120Hz refresh rate. Though little bit heavier but I’m used to with it now. I bought mine 3rd October.

I love my 13 Pro Max. I had the touch gate issue like 3 times but haven’t anymore so I’m pretty sure it already got fixed

This is not an IPHONE thing. It's a technology thing. All technology comes with its flaws. My iPhone 13 pro max works perfectly fine. No issues here:)

My iPhone 12 mini faceID is disabled.. but the Apple Care just denied the warranty due to some water contents .. but this is water resistant phone, how to over come this moisture by cold weather
Is beyond my control .. faceID laser/detector is too sensitive to wet weather indeed.. As an Apple consumer nearly decade, very dissatisfied with their feedback & Apple policy. Very disappointed 😔

I personally have not had the touch gate issue… and I’ve had two iPhone 13 Pro Max’s so yeah… most Likely you won’t experience this issue if this is bothering you or keeping you from purchasing a iPhone 13/Pro/ProMax

Ios 15 has Quite a few issues but it’s improving

I think the touch is in the software. Ever since I installed iOS 15 I have that issue on my 12 Pro Max. I touch an app and it won't open. So I clear it out with the up swipe and re-open it and it works. That tells me likely a software issue. Also, I haven't noticed it on my 13 Mini.
