My man! I deleted an entire wedding job, thousands of pictures. Then shot another wedding on the same card (luckily it was 128gb I suppose) panic is an understatement. Disc drill recovered 5000 photos, amazing. Life saving 🙏🏼

IT WORKS!!! I accidentally deleted a bunch of old pictures of my childhood when installing the Windows 10 installer tool on my external hard drive which "deletes" everything else. I got my kindergarten pictures back!!!

I have used stellar data recovery in the past and the free version allows one to recover 1 GB of data for free! . The recovery was quite smooth and i recovered by data back. It was super useful.

Looks pretty good. Most recovery software I have used in the past was not as user friendly as this one looks.

So. Like most here I’ve never had any luck with data recovery. Tried this and it’s taken 24 hrs to scan my entire Mac and found hundreds of stuff... great! Except to actually save anything it seems you actually have to buy the complete package at £80.
I don’t get the point of pro just to show you what’s there but you can’t retrieve anything...
unless I’m incorrect then someone please correct me.

I'm a freelance colorist for commercials and feature films. I received a drive a client shipped me for a big project, 8tb of media, and the drive was not mounting no matter what I tried. Found Disk Drill today and tried it out and it's looking promising. Quick scan found the first 7tb right away and currently doing a deep scan now. Love that this exists and hope all turns out okay. Problem is that this deep scan says it's going to take a long time. 76 hours! Might get the pro if the deep search is faster. Will update with outcome.

I wholeheartedly recommend Disk Drill it managed to find all my old files off a drive that was accidentally Formatted. My one complaint is when you get the files back you don't have the original names, you'll have to rename everything again. Not a Deal Breaker mind you, just Tedious. 👨🏿‍💻

Yesterday, I ran disk clean up and checked most all of the boxes including the temp and the recycle bin. After I did that I noticed that all of my screenshots were gone. I need those back. I had a huge screenshot file and I need those back. I think at the time, I had paused the disk drill software. Anyway I cannot seem to find the screenshot file anywhwere. Even when I run the disk drill software, and search for deleted files in the last day or two, it does not find any deletions. Any ideas? Recuva does not find them eiher?

I have an old laptop that is about 10 years old. What's the chances it could recover old deleted data from when the PC was maybe 1 year old? It has been reformatted a couple times in the last 10 years.

So basically I used to have this iphone s4 that had all of my childhood photos but sadly I lost the phone and when I signed my apple id onto another device the photos and videos didn't appear but I'm not sure if I did have backup or not will this work if I connect it to my Mac and then right after that recover my childhood photos and videos because they are really old photos and videos from a long time ago and I'm signing in to my old apple id account that had all of myold childhood photos and videos

On Mac. So, I have an SD card with lots of jpegs and a few MP4's. I thought this app would fix my corrupt files, but no it does NOT. All it will do is copy your corrupt files outside of the sd disk, it won't fix anything. Its an older Kingston SD card, and most of the photos are blank or have banding and partial images, no idea how this happens, but its pretty much toast. Its all there, the file names, but all of it is jumbled garbage now. Is there anything that can save all this stuff intact?

Can I stop a scan of my file pops up or should I wait for it to finish the entire drive scan?

Hello! I accidentally deleted a folder full of games, but I couldn’t recover that. Is it because the app won’t let me/isn’t made for that? I accidentally deleted a bunch of my mothers files due to an update, so I deleted my games folder on accident and pressed empty trash and it messed everything up.

Running it rn. Problem is I have somewhere between 1TB and 2TB of data on an external i'm trying to recover. obviously need to send the data to a different drive during the recovery process. but what if I don't have any other drives big enough? can I split up the recovery process to several drives? thanks anyone.

Do the photos return to the same date they were taken? Can I transfer it to my mobile on the same date? Thank you

Disk Drill Pro proved to be absolutely useless for me. I lost money in buying the pro version and not recovering any of the videos from the 256 SD card. They have a strict no-refunds policy. After Disk Drill Pro failed and I gave up hope I was brave enough to use ‘initialize’ on Mac and use Disk Utility’s “First Aid” option and entire card was recovered. In essence Disk Drill Pro failed miserably in comparison with Mac built-in software. I wish I used that before paying for Pro version and losing the $89.
