Everything I Packed for Month Of Interrailing Solo (Only 40L Rucksack!)

Eeeek I hope this essential backpackers packing list for my 1 month solo interrailing trip helps you! I only took a 40L Osprey rucksack (which worked perfectly!) and a 15L daysack, so I tried to pack as minimally as possible. Being a minimalist backpacker - or at least, attempting to be - is so much fun! Let me know if you have any Qs regarding anything in this video! Lots of love x

Nice! 👌 Versatility is the number one thing for minimalist travel. After some trips I managed to put everything in a 35 liter backpack (no extra bag). This is for trips of 3 weeks and longer. Everything under that I take an even smaller one. The freedom of it is the best. 😊 And i find it fun to get to know what you actually need and what I can leave at home.

It's insane that youre 18. I'm 21 and can't imagine doing this with other people, let alone alone. I wouldn't know what I'm doing. How do you have the balls and the motivation? And can you do a video on everything you should know about/before you go solo travelling?

Oh girl. I'm getting ready to interrail Europe for 6 months to a year + IN THE WINTER and I have nothing more than one, 35L backpack. I did a test pack today and my anxiety levels rose through the roof. Realized I'm gonna have to sacrifice some things that I'd consider essentials, including the sweater I bought to be my one "cute" item. It's just not practical enough. The 3XL hoodie stays though..Hahah!!

Tip for PORTABLE BATTERIES (2019): I recently traveled to Southeast Asia (China, Vietnam, Malaysia, etc.) and got found out that lithium batteries are a security hazard in airports there. Security either took my battery away, or made me put in in my Check In luggage. Would reccomend researching/ reading your power pack's details to see if it's lithium before buying/travelling with it!)
