Ive performed calibrations on analog and digital micrometers and other like-devices as well as the standards that I used to calibrate those aforementioned pieces of equipment, for Naval aircraft, "other gov agencies" and R&D applications.
I can tell you that those tolerances are not achievable by tech available at that time.
The standards that we used to calibrate equipment for very precise measurements (as previously mentioned) was conducted with a laser measuring device with an 8-place resolution.
Translation= I certainly cant say "it was made by aliens but human beings, with the technology available at THAT TIME per archeologists and anthropologists were not able to achieve those tolerances/specifications.
Its that simple folks.

Dude, you can see the imperfections on the photo you posted. Also, if you drill a hole, as was likely the method for this pot, it's going to be round. Drill a hole with a square bit, it's going to be round; drill a hole with an oval bit, it's going to be round.

Regardless of any of that, how do we know this pot isn't a fake. Many thousands of fake modern artifact have been produced.
