Sullenberger could have landed that plane with one wing and the tail missing on a WalMart parking lot.

The 737 Max 8 only used one angle-of-attack sensor and will now use two with the changes Boeing is making. In contrast, Airbus planes have always used three of these sensors in case two of them are faulty (which has happened before). Boeing needs to include THREE sensors, not two, to make their planes safe!

EDIT: I know the engine problem is unrelated. Just wanted to get that out there.

Boeing, you better get a good lawyer because international lawsuits are coming!

They are designed to be able to run with one engine if they have to. The one engine isnt exactly a bad thing while in flight.

I heard about this news. I live in Orlando, Florida but I live about 10 miles from the airport where the two pilots made that emergency landing. Thank God those two pilots were able to land the plane safely and that they are ok.

Ethiopian is the safest and one of the best airlines in the world. Only few accidents in it's 70 years of history.

The Boeing 737MAX and the FIU bridge share a lot in common.

It is despicable that politicians can campaign on such a vital and sensitive subject as is healthcare.

I was on a Southwest 737 max 8 at the end of January going from PHL to ATL. After we rolled back from the gate we sat there for 15 minutes and then the captain announced they only had 1 engine active (or something like that) so we had to wait 2 hours for another plane. At the time it was a major inconvenience but I thank God that those captains made that decision, I honestly can't imagine what would've happened if we took off in that plane.

The biggest atrocity here? Michael strahan being a news host 😂😂😂

1:11 the first animation is wrong it does not have a double winglet, suggesting it is a 737 version earlier than the max series

Its high time passengers boycotted all Boeing 737 Max...No boarding the plane. Cost reduction versus Human Life? We cannot put a price to human life.

Boeing is a massive company. The plane obviously has issues and they are scared to death to admit that it seems. Also seems like they are cutting corners for a "Quick Fix" . It's kinda scary. Just to be safe ill not board a 737 Max if they are still at airports. Luckily i only travel 2-4 times a year for work so i'll be paying attention to this one

I think you forgot to cut the video at the end of the actual story.

The 737 Max 8 is basically the modern DC-10

Ground the planes, ground the planes, ground the planes.

Blame the planes, not the inadequate pilots, who couldn’t even think to disable auto pilots as they fell from the sky. It’s not the planes that scare me.
