I'd argue that OVA 1; Ilse's Notebook, is actually essential. It was originally a part of the manga, unlike the other OVAs, which are either original or based on already additional manga. And it has an important mystery which gets you thinking about what Ymir is all about.

good video but its super overedited, assuming you have a good enough content you don't need to over edit this stuff. Things like the shaking of basically anything, putting eyes on everything, adding fire effects on stuff. Don't worry about under editing, look at Charlie's videos, he barely edits them yet he's one of the most influential people on this platform.
