4 Things that you can do with Date Skipping in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. For these first 2 You Don’t have to CLOSE your game. CHANGE TERA RAID DENS by date skipping. Press Y and open up your map and then ZL so you can zoom out and see everything. After that press your home button, go to settings, go to system and then select Date & time and skip a Day. Go Back to your game and you will see your mini map change in real time. This will refresh your daily 6 star raid which is the black glowing crystal or any other raids. CHANGE MASS OUTBREAKS by date skipping. If you Date Skip in the same location where a Pokemon Spawns you’ll get that mass outbreak to show up. For example, If my character goes to that area and date skips ill get a lucario mass outbreak and can get a shiny from there! These next 2 require you to save your game and exit! CHANGE AUCTION ITEMS by date skipping. Go to Porto Marinada Auction house and look around what items are there. If they aren’t what you want you save your game, close it, date skip and come back and see if they have what you want! ITEM FARMING by date skipping. If you pick up a bunch of Sparkling Items for money farming in Asado Desert or Berry Farming in between Artazon & Levencia save, close, date skip, and then open up your game the items will reappear on the ground! Feel Free to just go back a minute if you don't want a full day skip! If you want a pokemon in front of you to be the legal date just switch back the day once you have the spawn! You also wont get banned for date skipping.

Turn the clock BACK by 1 minute and it will reset raids and mass outbreaks

Also, i keep seeing people say:”i had to skip one month forward” NO GOD NO, just go back to the original day and it will be different, you don’t need to skip forward 3 months lol

Pro tip: if you’re not getting any luck with the mass outbreak method, set the clock to 5 or so minutes before the next day, make a level 2 encounter sandwich at the location where the Pokémon spawns and wait for the outbreaks to occur. I’ve had a lot of success with this.

Fun fact for items. If you put down a camp next to a sparkle item, your Pokémon will infinitely keep picking up that specific item and put it in the basket like an egg

For the mass outbreak one, it's not guaranteed to be the mon you want, however it does increase the chances by a lot. I've heard that having encounter power of that type active while day skipping increases your chances more

The best thing to keep in mind when date skipping to reset raids/outbreaks is when you press the home button make sure the time itself doesn’t change. For example changing from 1/4/23 to 1/5/23 sometimes in the time it takes you to get through the menu to the date/time change it may have changed to the next minute. If this happens just move the date forward and the minute back by one. Not a big deal but I’ve noticed when date skipping if the minute rolls over before I can change the date and get back to the game it won’t change anything.

Quick tip! You can only press "OK" as well instead of changing the dates

For the auction house it actually resets everyday in game so you only have to skip 72 mins to get those resets for the apriball hunting

First one you don’t even need to change the date or time at all. Just turn off the auto clock and mash through the time set portion and go back to your map.
I just did it to get a shiny Finizen
