Two Ways to Differentiate ln(x)/x | Derivative | Calculus | Glass of Numbers
Показать описание
In this video, we are differentiating the function ln(x)/x. Since it is fraction, we use the quotient rule to take the derivative of this function. Another way to do it is that we can use the product rule after bringing the x to the numerator.
Product Rule: (fg)' = f'g + fg'
Quotient Rule: (f/g)' = (f'g - fg')/(g^2)
✏️ Easy way to memorize the Quotient Rule: (H/L)' = (Low D-High minus High D-Low) over (Low Low)
