That 10% armor from the order of the brave can be explained very easily. One of the soldiers simply takes the medal and uses it as a shield!

They melt the gold medal down and attach a micro layer of extra gold onto the tank. Probably gonna be like a few atoms thick. That obviously translates to +10% armor.

The event "fall of berlin" fires only if the ocupation goes for certain nations, i belive French, British, USA, Soviets and Polish. So here for example if you gave away the ocupation to the French, even though there are no actual French divisons you would get the Event "French forces assault Berlin" or smthing like that.

For the medal I’d attribute it to better positioning of the tanks. If you know how to angle them properly towards enemies you might get a slightly higher chance for a shell to ricochet. Alternatively it could be attributed to experience in maintenance.

Fun fact: Saltsjöbaden Agreement is the reason that Tesla is struggling with Swedish unions at the moment. It essentially places what would be government mandated labor laws (including minimum wage, we don't have one in Sweden) and makes it the problem of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Tesla refuses to sign the CBA, and the right-wing PM doesn't want to get involved ("the laws are clear, they can solve it themselves") since the state would have to regulate so much of the labor market, and other unions can pressure Tesla to sign by sympathy strikes. The crux is that once a CBA is signed, workers are legally restricted in their right to strike. The labor movement in Sweden was largely a syndicalist movement 100 years ago, which the soc dems now say "that was our idea all along!" but the Saltsjöbaden Agreement principle has worked well in conjunction with a strong welfare state.

I absolutely love licorice. In fact I am going to the shops now and going to buy as much of it as I possibly can. I am not angry, just peckish.

I watch 3 hoi4 channels, isorrow, because he is a funny guy full of absurdity. Taurier, because I relate to him, he seems like he could be a friend. And feedback, because you are the king of hoi4. I learned the most from you. Thank you all 3.

Actually, you're mistaken, Italy actually had a formidable and most importantly, MODERN navy. This is a big reason as to why Hitler chose to ally with Italy

If sweden joined the axis in the real world. There wouldn't be a place called england anymore.

Naturally the +10% armor buff comes from you bringing honor to your ancestors and they protect you in battle.

16:55 well a few reason could be for that:
1. the medal is initial metal which makes for more armour.
2. in the IDF there is a slang word called ווסאח (wassakh) it means kinda like "cool" as in to serve in a particular corp, so many predrafted people want to go to this brigade or that brigade because it has participated in this battle in this war etc etc which makes it more 'wassakh' meaning more cool and thus there is higher motivation to serve under that unit.

The experience and unit level leadership can conceptually at least lead to tactics - like close vs loose formations, armor angling, maybe even improvised armor like extra tracks stacked on the weak spots of the armor vehicles. Better use of hulled down positions and terrain, perhaps. Or, or, they literally pin the citation metal on the lead tank for that extra .08 cm of spaced armor?

This is the real reason why the medal gave +10 armor: The guy getting the medal has a realisation the moment they pinned the medal to his uniform. He thought that what if we strap sandbags, extra tracks and even IKEA furniture to the tanks sides, front and back it will provide extra protection. And yes this is historical.

Also don't argue with me, I'am Swedish!

I am the precise opposite of angry. I am pleased. For I am the old enemy stirring.

Why not both? Well you see, there's this thing called "money", that all states have to be concered about how and where to allocate.

I'm a minute into the video, but I can assure you that yes, this is the first playthrough of [Brown Ideology] Sweden that I've ever seen.

Medal's armor buff is pretty easy to understand. They slap that medal on the front armor panel of the tank. More metal on tank = More armor

they pin the metal to the front of the tank clearly like how teddy roosevelt survived his gunshot
