In 2021, wages have grown at the fastest pace in nearly 20 years. Even Amazon pays workers $18/hour, but Walmart refuses to raise wages for most workers above $12/hour. Workers say they can’t afford to live. They’re calling on Walmart to raise its minimum wage to $15/hour.

$15/hr is CHEAP! Based on productivity and inflation since 1978 the wage should be $24/hr.

Coming from a Walmart worker, guys, it's time for us to unionize!! There is strength in numbers. Things are never gonna change unless we do! Chris Smalls and what he did for Amazon workers is truly inspiring!

I put my two weeks in yesterday there not because I hate the job itself, it’s because of how I’m trained, treated, and paid 🤷‍♂️

Walmart management have fat salaries and treat a lot of employees poorly. I was really excited to work for Walmart, but I really think wages should
Be higher considering store managers make an excess of 100k a year

I do not understand how any of these corporations can justify $23 million for the CEO.

I had a plumbing company owner tell me how it works out for him to make what he makes. He made less money off each job then any of his plumber by the time the bills are paid. The only reason he made more is because he got a peace of each job done.

$12/hr is a poverty wage and it is a shame of Walmart to pay pitiful wages

My friend makes $1 over min at Walmart.. the supervisor told him he is welcomed to come in on his days off from work overtime because of the understaffed number of workers that day. The same supervisor was not there the day he worked. He was told by another manager that he was not supposed to come in that day and that he knew that and that he would be written up!! His supervisor played it down like it's no big deal but wouldn't say if he was ever written up or not... There's a reason so many people quit Walmart is a chaotic place to work

Walmart holiday pay is messed up too.
Let's say you have an assigned day off.
The holidays come up well now they take your day off and moves it to the holiday and then you lose your OG Day off.
Then you find out after the fact.

7 yrs+ at Walmart. This video is understating the horrors there. I myself had to deal with horrible conditions, a male coworker sexually harass/assault me and they just brush it off. Basically the attitude is I had it coming. I now refuse to spend anything there on principle

It really breaks my heart to see all these billionaire companies mistreating so many people they're having their Paradise right now they will not be here later they will pay for what they're doing to people.

It should be illegal to pay so low that even a full grown man with gray in his beard who works full time still has to live with his parents.

This is why I will never shop at Walmart. They exploit workers, and their prices are often not the LOWEST.

Same with Sam's club. I was making 14.40 a hour in 2000. They were talking about firing me because I was making to much money. I started with the company in 1988 . Making 5.00 a hour. I quit in 2001 in December. Because of hostile work environment. From management. They suck. Big time

the cost of living wherever one lives is very exspensive. the rate that Walmart (wealthiest family in the US Of A ) pays them is a joke. They can afford atleast $20 an hour per employee
