A Technician explains How to Use Wiring Diagrams for Car Electrical Diagnosis and Repair.

In this video we continue the electrical series by talking about wiring diagrams and how to effectively use them to diagnose cars. In the next part of the series we'll get a bit hands on when we explain how to use a multimeter to perform all the various testing that we've talked about in this series

I have never regretted subscribing to this channel. The amount of education I get here is like going to Auto university.

As a Retired Auto Tech & Community College Instructor (57 years experience with ASE Master & L1) I love your descriptions & testing logic, exactly as I taught my students to do. It might be a good idea to compare diagrams for various manufacturers so people can see the minor differences. Keep up the great work!

Many people do not know how to properly use electrical test equipment, especially for parasitic drain and loading circuits for voltage drop testing. It would be good to do a series based on these points. Again, keep up the great videos you provide. I have watched many of your videos and love what I see.

Your explanation of your methodology is incredibly helpful. When coupled with what's being taught, this is one of the best uses of 30 minutes you could possibly invest in.
Thank you!

Electrical was always a struggle for me when I was an auto tech. I am really excited to watch these instructional videos of yours. Thank you so much!!

Great video. My suggestion is you cover a how-to use tools to verify voltage (power), ground, continuity and relays as you diagnose the issue. (with multimeter, quick pin sensors, manual switched relays)

Main thing my instructor always said when diagnosing electrical issues, "don't come to me without an EWD".

So I either learned his way or I learned Toyota's (through T-Ten) way of diagnosing electrical issues. It has helped me greatly.

I have all of your videos saved 😉
I can tell you, I (who didn't know anything about cars a year ago) have been giving advices to the Mechanic Master I work with part time, by just passing your knowledge. You are a Saint my very good Professor.
May God bless you and your family, and keep you all safe 🙏

I just wanted to say, you are an excellent instructor. I learned more from your videos in 1 hour than a lot of time with other methods. I hope you make a milli on this work because you deserve it. Thank you!

Well presented! When the house is paid for/ kids through college etc.consider a teaching or management position. You have expertise and are well spoken. Our bodies don't last forever as a tech. I got the opportunity to go into supervision in a fleet shop and it turned out to be a real blessing.

You are the best. My daughter is an engineering major at Purdue university and is currently taking 300 level electrical current class. I sent her these videos and she said they were helpful. Thanks 😊

You're by far the best teacher for automotive electrical! I have struggled for years understanding wiring diagrams and firing the parts cannon at my cars. I replaced an entire ABS computer and pump when I tested the relay and though it was good. Come to find out, it wasn't; only because I tried every other part. It was one simple plug and play part that I somehow tested incorrectly, resulting in spending lots of time and money installing other parts. Thank you for all these videos and all you give back to us in the car community.

Excellent video! You bridge the gap between basic knowledge of electrical circuits and making sense of wiring diagrams.
Also great is the logic of what to check first, second and so on to avoid chasing your tail.
Seeing a circuit clearly from start to finish is vital in correctly solving the problem without throwing parts, time and energy in all directions.
Thank you for explaining things so clearly.

These videos may not get as many views as some other videos, but they are actually some of the most meaningful videos you can put out. It's good to see you care about the quality of the content you put out and not just try to throw out what will get the most views all the time.
