Caitlyn Clark uses left thumb as well. Optional if you want to use it or not. It’s better to learn using the shooting hand only as it is being demonstrated here, then experiment adding a off hand thumb flick or not.

i’m 18 and i still use my thumb flick and i can usually make 3-4 in a row consistently so it’s all about preference and how you want it to feel

my ball goes it 9 times out of ten but has no spin just looks like it’s frozen in air what do i do?

I’m doing this, I’ve done a ton of drills I’ve seen, I’m shooting with the ball air hole in between my pointer and middle finger and releasing with those fingers, my hand placement for my guide hand is a good bit away from my shooting hand, and I’m not using my guide hand to shoot, and I’ve done this for over a month, but there still a good bit of sidespin on the ball when I shoot past 10 feet. The only shot form I tried that didn’t have sidespin had no power. Any suggestions I don’t know what else to do
