Feel it. Our first "big" TV at home was 40" and now I have a 32" 4k monitor on my desk and it feels normal.

As you say...you would like more resolution on the widescreen, check out the Dell U4021QW, or released this June, LG 40wp95c and Lenovo P40W.
Those 40" 5k2k r2500 -screens would fit many of us timeline-junkies hybrid shooters that looking for a one screen solution. I myself going either Dell or LG here. 👍

Thanks for this review. I’m in need of an Ultrawide for video editing, motion graphics and video production. How does this monitor handle Macs? Meaning does the screen resolution get out of wack or altered?

One of the problems I have with ultrawide monitors is that when on a Zoom/Teams call and you need to screenshare, you cannot select a portion of your screen.
And yes, I know you can select only an app to share, however, it is not good for performance, especially when running through extensions/docking stations. So would need another monitor for that, maybe like a vertical one on the side.

Nice! I’ve been thinking about making the switch from a 4K to an ultra wide lately. I believe MKBHD uses his so he has basically a full preview on one side and all his editing features on the other, which I think would be super useful, great video!

im on the BENQ PD3200U for now 3 weeks. I love it ! The space the resolution and the quality are just perfect. Before I had 2 24inch crappy gaming monitors. Used my iPad as a reference monitor but the workflow was awful. Maybe someday I will get a second one. But these days its not needed

Ha ha jag hörde i början och fick spola tillbaka, lite svengelska. Sen såg och förstod jag du var svensk. Jag är själv sugen på en ultrawide nu när jag ska uppdatera min iMac. Större monitor med en Mac mini. Så jag e orolig för upplösning på en sådan mot en 27” 5K.. Bra kanal, subbar! 👍

I'm planning to buy two 27 inch monitors. Today i have 2 24 inch and i love how you can have one program for example lightroom to always start on one of the monitors.
Can you do the same on a wide monitor. So it acts like it's two monitors?
If it works that way, i might get a bigger wide monitor instead
