I'm glad I'm not the only one who calls the cursor a "mouse"

I hear some people right-click their mouse to find it. lol (Because it brings up a menu.)

Seriously, pro tip for people with Ultra-Wide monitors. Go into your mouse settings and cursor options and just make it bigger. If you also use bright backgrounds, use either the inverted or black cursor theme. Never lose your mouse again.

It's like you're playing "Where's Waldo" up on that thing.

MacOS has a thing that when you keep agitating the cursor on multiple directions the cursor gets bigger, it’s made to help you find it hahaha, it’s really good

If you have powertoys installed, you can double press CTRL

The UNIX-guys solved this in 1988 with the small 'widget' xeyes. Two eyes on screen that look at your mouse cursor at all times :-)

It’s it worth it? I really want to get rid of my second monitor for the desk space. I’m hoping 1 big monitor will do the trick.

start by getting rid of the hideous wallpaper and pick pure black

Pro-tip. You can setup windows to "ping" your mouse/cursor location with a button press.

But they have a ping on the cursor you can tap on to locate it 😅😊

I say that now with 2 23" monitors 😂😂😂😂 I don't need a bigger monitor then 😂

Windows has an enableable feature where you tap ctrl and it makes sonar/echo rings around your cursor

Windows or the Mouse Utility has many options to configure the mouse cursor. E.g. letting it leave a trail of cursors when you move it. But one is for an “echo location” if the left CTRL key is pressed. Concentric circles will flash around the cursor especially if white cursor against white background.

Imo the 34" ultrawide monitors are just the perfect size for ultrawide

This is me sometimes with my little 34” ultrawide

I'm waiting for a 98" ultrawide monitor. Fuckt it! I'll settle for a 77" OLED TV.

Please Windows add that feature from KDE Plasma where you shake the cursor and it becomes larger. I know windows has the legacy feature to enable pressing control to "ping" the location, but nobody uses that anymore, it's dated and barely helps. 😂
