I've been struggling to put together a slide show and came across your video. Excellent! I had no idea that I could make a video with music from my pics and videos so easily. Very clear and concise tutorial.

Thank you Teacher's Tech for taking the time to post his tutorial. I used the editor for the first time to make my "Actor's Reel" for auditions and your tips help immensely. Keep up the great work!

I wanted a simple, straight forward, No frills (well not too many) video editor that would be easy to use, as I would only use irregularly for occasional YouTube content.
All the others free (or free trial) apps that I tried were well very advanced, confusing, and had to keep ‘re-learning’ every time I wanted to produce another video … VERY frustrating.
I did not appreciate that there was a ‘built in’ free editor in windows 11, so finding your tutorial was an absolute god send, thank you so much for your efforts, it is much appreciated.

One of the colossal problems with Windows, is that they randomly choose to move things around . . . for who knows what reason. Start button . . . same place for ages then . . l just move it from where everyone knows. I mention this because videos like this would be so much more helpful if the rug wasn't yoinked out from underneath you. The foundation of the look of the loadout & where everything is has changed. There are zero schedules of when things like this may or may not happen. You could launch your computer & if it had auto updates on; you never know what you're going to get. Thank you for the video, I wish the layout of Windows Video Editor had not been manipulated.

I am guessing they removed this feature because when I do this all it brings up is the photos tool. No video editor.

It is very frustrating that Microsoft has forced an update that replaced this original, easy to use, Video Editor with the complex monstrosity that is ClipChamp. I wish there was a way to get it back.

One thing I can't see that I would like is the fade in and out of each clip - Windows movie maker was amazing and they went wrong getting rid of it

I got old waiting for you to populate the storyboard. Kidding aside, thanks for this.

Of course, they don't have a crop feature which is the easiest thing to add, sigh back to using online video trimmer oh well. Not talking about trimming a video they have that, but they don't have where u can click the video and crop out say the top portion of a video to hide a certain portion of the video which is very basic and important in editing.

I just bought a dell with windows 11 a few weeks ago- does anyone else's windows video editor default to clipchamp? I have not played with clipchamp much, but based on what I am reading online, the free version of clipchamp has a watermark unless I pay to upgrade. i cannot access the non-clipchamp windows video editor like what is shown in this video @teacher's tech
