Tip for memorising; if the teacher is talking through something you don't understand, repeat what they say in your head like an echo. Every time they pause repeat what they said. It really helps.

Tip for reading assignments:
Mouth the words as you read. It can help memorize it better, especially if it’s hard to understand

edit: thx for the feedback.
It depends on how you listen. Some people are better with mouthing/talking, others are better with writing it down. (something like that)

this is really good for whom is learning a new language, that you do flashcards with vocabulary from you desired language and apply this technique.

We’re not told our exam dates until (maximum) a month before. We complete our portion approximately two days before the exams start.

I used to do something similar for every vocabulary assignment, I drew dots next to words I knew well and added more as I got better. So I focused more on words with fewer dots and then would go back to see it I still remembered the ones with more dots.

I always asked my friend they're grade first, told them i got 5 to 8 points under them, then asked them to help me study. I really started to see they're grades "that were normally 65 to 70" go up, it seemed to help them rememeber when they explained the topic out loud to someone else, and by the end of the year we were both getting 80s. idk if this was rude to do, but I really don't care, it was fun hanging out with them, and i didn't want to discouraged them or make them feel bad about it. I dont regret it at all, I don't talk to them anymore but I really hope they're doing well.

Helpful tip:
Whenever I use this method I fold the flash card in half. On the front I right the question, on the inside I write the answer, and on the back I write a hint. Pneumonias or other associations that will help you remember the answer can really help when you are actually faced with a question on a test.
