I was a financial advisor for about seven years. The 2008 sub prime debacle ended my ability to earn enough to remain an employee advisor. I left the industry completely and did other work. I’m 56 now and need to earn a decent and steady income but I don’t think I want to become a financial advisor again. I believe that I would do best in an assistant role. What should I do. Should I get a Series 7 and look for such support jobs? Big earnings are not so important to me. A good income with benefits are what I’m seeking. I’m pretty smart but I don’t feel I can go out and find clients again. I don’t have that much emotional energy.

I am currently entering as a junior trader for a big community bank, I already started studying for the series 7. I had been working as an analayst for a telecom company for 2 months, and left it for a 40% base pay raise and 25% bonus. This is my second job after college. I would like to do investment banking and I like management consulting. Any recommendations?? I would appreciate it.

Thank you for the video. But your forecast for the future is way off. There will always be salesmen and more importantly person to person interaction especially when someone is untrusting the wealth and or assets to anyone, not to machine. Plus, all the tech we have now to facilitate the dealing of investments in money will never substitute one of the oldest tradition of two or more people getting together over a powwow
