Old Enough To Understand

This fits Tesoro & Stella really well, so I had to do it because I love them & wish they had a happy ending. This is the first edit/AMV I've ever made. Not sure I'll make any others, I just felt a strong urge to do one with this song.

I find it crazy that within a backstory that lasted a single minute, he went from an oppressive to tragic character.
Throughout the entire movie, not a hint of humanity left in this man, and yet all it took was one minute to change everyone's view on his character.

I wish I was able to watch this movie when it came out in theatres and be able to see people's reactions.

Oda writes even non-cannon villian's different

His story is so tragically ironic. He struggled to get money to save the person he loved and eventually he got all the riches he could ever want and more but too late to save her

I'd love to see an arc dedicated to the killing of all the celestial dragons.

Man, having seen Kuma's backstory, i cannot wait to see the celestial dragons get wiped out brutally.

Fun Fact: No matter how bad a One Piece villain is, the Celestial Dragons are ALWAYS worse lol

This video made me finally watch Film Gold. It wasn't bad at all but damn... Tesoro's past had so much potential, I really wish they had fleshed it out more, this video is literally longer than the actual scene where his past is revealed

Legit, if Tesoro was given a full arc in the main story of One Piece he would be one of the greatest villains ever. (actually the part where they start revealing their major plan near the end kinda ruined it, but he will still be a good villian)

The worst part about One Piece is how real it actually is. Celestial Dragons exist in our world too, and they take from everyone with no repercussions and cause immense global harm, and we all feel powerless to stop it

I love the detail where he doesn’t wear a ring on his ring finger, because he still remembers her

crazy how in context he was praying to nika

The fact that the Villains motive for being the richest man on earth and scamming others for his own greed is because of the fact that he tries to make up for the money he never had is next level

Wish Oda had saved Tesoro as a canon villain, this backstory had potential to be amazing for a tragic villain.

I wish we got more of Tesoro and his climb to riches so he could buy her back but not cope with the fact celestial dragons won’t sell no matter how much fame, power, or riches you have, furthering his unhinged behavior to those who would try and undo his lost cause to get her back.

I honestly felt it when Tesoro shared his backstories, just like arlong and many others he is just a victim of the celestial dragons trying to either hide their past or act the way they act simply because of how the dragons influenced them. Tesoro deserves redemption arc
