I really felt my heart being ripped out of my chest with the revelation that she died like that, in such an horrible way and I'm guessing painful for a few seconds. It really hits you like it hits the main character, because even if she were to die of her illness, atleast they had some little time to enjoy, and to have that taken way, it really hurts. (The worst part is there are clues of a serial killer in the movie, so that's some sick foreshadowing, and I think the killer acted around the area of his home which means she as going to his place).

You can clearly see how haruki goes from a loner who can give a shit about people to someone who cares.
That scene where sakura turns her head towards the screen just gets you in the feels
the movie didn't make me cry but this edit definitely came close

That part broke me when the male main lead cried for the first time from the bottom of his heart in front of the female lead's mother when she died...that part was just so heartbreaking and of course the part when the female lead died not because of her disease but because of some idiot...anybody who watched this legendary movie will definitely feel and remember the sadness in these two scenes 😢
