Our trailer is a small 16' Jayco travel trailer. It weighs about 2900 lbs. loaded with 30 gallons of water and supplies. I have the SuperCrew cab 2017 raptor and it pulls it like it's not even attached. Love it. Pulling my trailer in "SPORT" mode and still blowing away the average car on acceleration is funny as hell.

Driving conservatively on completely flat roads I average about 11.5 mpg towing what equates to a flat brick wall in the wind. Of course terrain and how windy it is affect the MPG, but that's what we've averaged each time we've gone on vacation with it.

Also, as for MPG... I could really care less. That's not why I bought a Raptor. It's SPG all day (Smiles Per Gallon)!!!

My license plate reads: CARNVR :D

I don't think I've ever seen Andre do a bad video. Very good on camera.

Damn lots of ecoboost haters! I have been getting a new Raptor every 2 years since they came out. If you ignore the sticker shock you might realize the resale value is CRAZY on these trucks. More than ANY other truck. Difference from trade value to a new one has been between $4500-$9000 on mine after 2 years! What other new truck of this caliber cost you only between $200-$375/month to own? NOTHING. Plus the 3.5 ecoboost is really fast stock and especially with a tune :) I like it. My old V8s sounded better and if i kept the trucks longer than 3-4 years i'd rather have something less complicated than the ecoboost but there is no other truck as fun to drive as the Raptor. They are an absolute blast. The new Ram is nicer than any 1/2 ton truck by far. Almost bought one this time but could not get past how much fun the Raptor is to drive. It turns heads too. Everyone loves the Raptor. Never had one single issue with any of mine.

Meanwhile every Ford dealership is sold out of their Raptors for 5k over sticker. It looks like the people that can actually afford these aren't spending their time in YouTube's comment section.

Pretty respectable considering the power level, vehicle weight and load. Not to mention the progressive rate shocks and extra ride height.

That blue on the new raptor looks freaking sexy

I just took my 2017 Raptor with a17x9x8 trailer, about 5k pounds and was getting 7.9-9mpg for an average of 8.7. Went about 800 miles

Just went and picked up a 6x12 enclosed trailer today with my 2015 2WD V8 F150, got 19.8mpg on the interstate (70mph) on the way to the guy's house, and 10 on the way back. Empty trailer. Truck was even shifting down to 4th gear in some cases to maintain 70. And this is minimal hills in northern Florida.

It's insane how much difference towing a shed makes on your fuel economy. I once towed my friend's car on a car dolly (~4, 000# vs this trailer's 1200#), and I averaged ~16mpg on that same interstate.

So you're pretty much towing a challenger??

I don't think few miles difference in mpg is going to make a big difference. People buy trucks not for mpg. People who are interested in mpg buy hybrids.

I love that that truck doesn't have push button start

people talk about the tundra fuel mpg this is basically the same.If you want power your gonna have to usually sacrifice a little fuel

Dang, that is good MPG for a truck with this type of performance and capability....!!!

ANY gas engine will suffer when laden with 7, 000 lbs, not just this truck. Buy a diesel if you're wanting more efficiency when towing.

Because people buy Raptors for towing and fuel economy.

Hoping you guys get to do the same with the Durango SRT once it's released. Current info I can find says it will be rated to 8600 pounds.

Man in austria we do pay about 5-6 €/gallon depending on the qualiti of the gas. 95 up to 102 octane.

An the raptor as testet kosts 140 000 dollars ;)

Did they reveal the CAT scale weight? Curious to see how close they were to GCWR. I'm thinking with two of them in Raptor on scales they should be about 1300-1500lbs under GCWR.
Also I've read the GCWR for the SuperCrew Raptor was 14, 250lbs on tfltruck site and on fords site. Yet the video says 14, 080 lbs? What did it say in the door jamb?
