How to Remove a Stripped Carburetor Screw

It isn't too difficult to remove stripped screws. You just have to be careful. All in all I probably paid about $10 for the supplies that actually worked.

Try a punch first the shock of it will usually bust them loose. An old school Harley mechanic told taught me this one.

I know this sounds crazy but i had 2 really bad stripped screws on my big bear350 to take the float off the carb i tried everything then i desided to put some glue on the head of the screw driver it got all over the bolt and by the threads then i tapped the screwdriver with a hammer on the screw and it came right out!!!!

I think you could have broken all of those loose with needle nose vise grips.

Hi mate one of my pilot screws on the other side was rounded off when I got it, are they fucked? Brass is so soft
