Ty. I used a rubber glove and it worked.

The pliers method worked for me, but I had a Knipex twin grip, so glad I bought that tool! 😂

I have a very tight bent and stripped Allan bolt in a very cramped area and I really don’t know what to do

They're all pretty good ideas. I have a 2.5 mm one that's recessed and hard to get.
My first thought was to put JB weld on scrap. Allen.
I think I might try using some 2000 grit. Sandpaper and jam it in and see if that works

Not a lot of options here for a RECESSED allen screw head... these solutions assume you have access to the head, but what if it's down a very narrow hole?

Tried a rubber band on the end but no dice. Channel locks worked though, thanks!

Can you use locktite on the top of the screw? Also, do any of these methods work on small screws?

I had one strip that is imbedded at a weird angle. I tried almost everything. Finally i used a small a small piece of cloth wedged in the hole instead of rubber. And it popped loose 🤣 cloth

A torx bit will also work or you can peen the bolt head with a hammer and a punch to help the Allen to fit tighter.

I have a stuck Alan screw at the base of a single handle kitchen faucet (#8). I tried the extractor bit and it doesn’t work.

Those L shaped screwdrivers are such a pain to use. They break your thumb if something like this happens.

I couldn't grip the bolt with the channel locks but the rubber glove worked like a charm!

Good ideas. Please don’t take this as bad criticism, you are holding your pliers wrong. An easy old fashioned saying and easy way to remember- RIGHTY TIGHTY LEFTY LOOSEY. It does make a difference in the bite you will get on the fasteners.
