We need to enjoy and appreciate the beautiful planet with many different forms of life and some we know nothing about but yet we are destroying the place made for us to find life elsewhere. If we, as in all humans all over this planet, come together and work as one with one goal to protect all life humans, animals insect organisms, etc.. we'd have no need to see what's out there when we can't find peace among ourselves. All living beings are on all life must be included, not just humans. The selfish need we have to want and expect to have more to be in the power and control will be our downfall, and we will never find peace and transcend with the rest of the universe. If Mars had the same protected shield like earth, there is almost an certainty that there was some kind of life on Mars.
