Also, something I find very useful for minefield is, If you're playing escort for example, you can roll onto the payload mid fight and slam from there if grapple is on cooldown, pair this with jumping on top of someone specific and triggering minefield, and 8/10 times this guarantees a kill. Remember, a single minefield kill is enough to consider the ult having value, as it's also the only ult that you can charge while active

i've been wanting to use ball more since i never see him being used much anymore, thanks for the tips!

I argue adaptive shields is better for surviving if you're low, supports and health packs can heal your hp but not your shield. A lot of times I see Ball players use their shields to start a fight and then escape, giving the enemies ult charge but not their supports.

For the first tip try learning the toronto kick as its much faster to get height and slam rather than waiting for a bit to get height and piledrive.
Toronto kick is where you look high, jump and grapple at the same time then you'll get enough height for piledrive and you have grapple ready after your slam

Thank you, I always hated the rework for the grapple pulling in because it stops my momentum (I was use to just rotating and knowing the map for grapples). Don't know why i never thought about using it like that.

I feel like something people don’t really notice or think of a lot is that you can boop people into the mines and it just like melts them

Mid fight is also better due to possibly less resources on the enemy team, namely movement and imort abilities

I wouldn't really says mines should be used midfight because they can definitely be used at the start of the fight. At the start of the fight, they can be used to force cooldowns or ultimates or just to generally make space. If either team has an ult advantage, mines could be used midfight to deny space when enemy team is favored or block escape when your team is favored. The only real condition for using minefield is making sure the enemy team has commited to the fight.

Here’s the most important bad habit you’re making as wrecking ball: you’re playing him to begin with ☠️

Also a great tech is to roll up to a wall jump and move backwards. It’s basically a big jump the you can ground slam off of. Don’t know what it’s called tho

You have no idea how many times ive held ctp on ball in overtime in a 1v5, if you just hang above the point(depending on how high the roof is) literally no one looks up lol

Best Wrecking Ball tip for dealing with a Mei, when she feezes herself, get on top of her and pop ur ult. There is no way she is surviving that🤣😂😅.

I counter ball every time, so the quick slam doesn't affect his gameplay that much xD

For the first one, I think grapple-retract-slam is a waste of time and grapple, when it's more effective to learn the walljump slam and use grapple for disruption and to disengage
