Chef Jacques Torres is a master pastry chef and a chocolatier from France, who also appears as a head judge on Netflix’s *Nailed it!* His love for pastries and chocolate started young, as he began his apprenticeship at fifteen in a local shop. In 1980, he began working for Jacques Maximin, a two-star Michelin chef. He then moved to the US where he worked as an executive pastry chef, dean of pastry arts, and owner of one of the most successful chocolate factories in America. In his impressive resume, chef Jacques won multiple awards including James Beard Award for Pastry Chef of the Year, Meilleur Ouvrier de France (A French competition for craftsmanship held every four years. This Chef was so happy to make the cookies even more so when the guy said its the best cookie ever

I saw his recipe on Not Another Cooking Show's channel and this is the only way I make cookies now. They're honestly the best cookies, at least that I've ever made or purchased. I usually only bake for about 13 minutes though.
