Watto in Phantom Menace is genuinely one of the best implementations of a CGI character in the history of film. He looks real. Had they not pissed everyone off with Jar Jar first, methinks Watto would've been much more fondly remembered.

I like how he says “I lost everything!” He lost a few parts of which he owns a whole scrapyard, and a boy of which really didn’t do much. He apparently had such little need for labor he ended up selling Schmee so it wasn’t like he needed slaves anyways. It also sounded like he regularly wins big at these podraces. Law of averages buddy.
