pickup used to be a bit above the price of a regular car, but today most pickup are more expensive than a mercedes, to all car makers make a cheap under $20, 000 car or pickup and forget about all the toys like infotainment and all the other pricey toys, give us the cars you sell in the third world at a cheap price and if I want to add any electronic toys I will have them added later if I have money to burn but stop pricing those cars out of the range of the average consumer.

I actually tried to buy a Maverick, ordered it, put the down payment, waited 11 months without a single dealer update, only to find out the dealership didn't do their job any convert the order once production went to the new year and my order was closed out. Now I was waiting for a truck that was never coming, so Ford screwed me, I am so excited that all the other manufacturers are gonna steal the market from Ford, hopefully it will djko some damage. I kinda hoped that Ford would step up and remedy my issue . if they GAVE me a truck I'd set it on fire before I sat in it, they lost my business forever. So you go Toyota, Chevy, Dodge anyone but Ford!!

Toyota needs a pickup that prioritizes fuel efficiency over performance. I have been incredibly disappointed by both the Tundra and Tacoma hybrids. I don’t need more power I need better fuel economy. Why does Toyota think the Ford Maverick is selling like hot cakes despite terrible reliability?

For god sake, can any manufacturer release a compact truck that has a short wheel base and 4x4, no gadgets, no screen, just a simple honest old timer truck? AC optional is fine too. I have a 90 miles one-way commute 3 to 4 times a week. I haul some gear (not a lot) and some fuel. I need a single cab, hybrid, nothing fancy just plain basic truck. If you can give me a 6 speed manual - great. This week the gas price here is $6/gallon!
