Good stuff, Grant. When I've been hurting and even a light weight intimidates, putting the lifting belt on grinding through works wonders.

I'm at the gym now. I do 20 pound hammers and cross overs (my norm). Today I can barely lift 10 pounds. Thank you so much for your info. From a nurse 😊

Good stuff. The star of this video for me is not Coach Grant, it is, and always will be, his awesome cat. ❤

Ignoring pain can lead to greater (and possibly permanent) injury. Example: a simple sprain becomes a complete tear because you pushed it too far.

Thank you. I'm doing 15 pounds with pain but doable . I have been weight lifting/cardio for 2 years now down 35 pounds but up 10 from fat and muscle 😟

Sometimes it's not that easy. I herniated a disc in the gym two years ago and I'm still in pain. I can't run and I can't squat or deadlift without increasing the pain.

I agree 100% with every word of this. Back pain is often just a state of mind.

Did Grant find a problem hippies could actually solve?
