The treaty of Versailles is not the main cause of World War II. The main cause was German leadership. A treaty of Versailles contra a popular belief was not as harsh as it was made out to be. There were some economic consequences that I do disagree with, but the territorial concessions for Germany were good. The break up of Austria-Hungary made sense and preventing Germany from having a military Over 200, 000 men was a good way to prevent them from being a threat to France.
