Re-distillation and moving on.

Hi Folks,
here's a discussion on my greed at keeping too wide a heart cut when I started distilling compared to what I do now, and how that affected my whisky so much that I re-distilled it and started to age it again. It also has a small discussion near the end on why I have chosen to purchase the copper dome for the Still Spirits T500 alembic pot still, in the context of the style of whisky I'm trying to produce.

That's a good idea with the coil you could also get a tri clamp bulkhead put it on top of your done the add a 200cm tri clover extention and on the top of that, hen get the reverse adapter for your condenser tri clamp all the bits together and away you go, you can even put some packing in the column like copper scrubbers, that should bump up your ABV while retaining flavour. Cheers from Aussie mate.

Thanks for the videos. What abv do you dilute to for your second run? I did a vodka, but it tastes awful. I want to put it through a reflux again.
