Thank you, Dr. I never liked it when the manicurist automatically wanted to cut or use that electric thing near my cuticles. I thought pushing back the cuticle would be safer and would allow them to do that. I stopped going to nail salons and won't use the cuticle pusher at home. Thanks for your help! Very educational!

What about liquid cuticle removers? Such as Olive & June brand? It's a clean application and wipe off with a cotton pad. It super moisturizes too. I just got some the other day and used it once 😢

Dead skin and dry skin are two different things. It look me too many years to learn this.

I wonder how often they sterilize that tool. I almost made an appointment to get a Russian manicure, but then I saw that they removed the cuticle 😮which stopped me in my tracks. 😅
