Had a death in the family yesterday, this helped put things into perspective. We all have to die of something, pain only exists in the living. For whatever reason, these "dark" thinkers have always seemed to bring a certain comfort. Or maybe it's the totality of a lack thereof that makes it all even out. I read his books when I have a depression episode and I feel better. I kind of embrace my feelings and start to move up from that.
