✳️ Maple Syrup, Date Syrup, Coconut Sugar, Honey, anything that ends in OSE is a SUGAR...all will SPIKE our insulin✳️

Remember 🤷🏼‍♀️SUGAR IS SUGAR🤷🏼‍♀️....NO Matter what the sugar is...it will spike your insulin only to leave you craving MORE SUGAR. The process of cutting sugar out is your choice...COLD TURKEY.....🪓CUTTING BACK ON SUGAR...( this is how I have started )...Or NO ADDED SUGAR ( coconut sugar is added sugar )...❣️AN UPDATE, I have already cut out the granola I share❣️...I no longer need it...I think we start to get control at the two week mark...YOU CAN DO THIS....Sugar contributes to disease ( CANCER, HEART , INFLAMMATION, DIABETES...etc). MY GOAL is to be SUGAR FREE ( CANE & Artificial )...The BEST WAY TO EAT IS A WHOLE FOOD DIET...SKIP THE CENTER ISLE...and Fat Free is usually not a good option...they add more sugar to make up for the loss of FAT

🔺 UPDATE : Belly Bloat is already disappearing🔺

My parents had a big garden and when I was hungry for sweet I ate strawberry raspberry and blueberry, never saw chips or sodas or candies in my parents house couldn’t not afford it. As an adult I had a difficult time to adjust to the over process food, and gain weight. At 37 I went back to what to what my mother and grandmother prepare for meals. Lost 30 pounds and never gained it back. Thank you for sharing your journey I love it because for everyone is different and you have to find what works for you. Thanks Beautiful Tammy.❤️

I have not cared for sugar until menopause. About 2 years ago I started craving sugar that just took me over. I had always been fit and had a good diet. Also had health issues that worsened over time so I can now say at 51 I am at a somewhat unhealthy weight, drink Pepsi every day and love cup cakes and cookies. I would have never thought this would be me. I even eat the sugar in my car so family doesn’t see me because I feel guilty about it. My husband would not judge me at all but I am judging myself because I know better. I watch your videos for skin and hair care advice and have a good system now but my skin and hair should look better by now. So, I’m hoping tomorrow will be my first step towards stopping this addiction for my health sake. Thank you Tammy, wish me success. I wish it for you and everyone else out there!! Bless you all!

Clean keto helped me break my sugar addiction. It has been over a year now and has worked wonders for my health. Also, I have never eaten so many vegetables! You are correct that keto primarily involves healthy fats and lots of veggies. It is a misconception that keto involves excessive amounts of protein. I eat berries, avocado, and lots of veggies daily, but only low to moderate servings of protein.

Hi beautiful Tammy! I am just like you. I had a sugar addiction also. I hate meat and could live on cake and cookies. I took steps to kick the addiction last year. As a result, I lost weight and feel so much better now.

A couple of years ago I cut down my sugar, gave up sweeteners for a month and my inflammation disappeared . Only wish I could have stuck to it, Love your hair! Thank you Tammy, you are an inspiration to many of us!

Years of sugar addiction landed me type 2 diabetes. Almost 100lbs weight loss over the last 10 years. It’s been a ongoing struggle ! I have a walking addiction the last 4 yrs! Agreed with everything you covered in video. I know my sugar addiction has become physiological as I can eat regular chocolate and chocolate substitute and feel satisfied either way. I will always be an addict and do my best not to slip up. Excellent video!!!!

Oh the MANY promises I have made to myself about sugar! When you said you had no problem keeping your promise to others but could not keep a promise to yourself, I felt that in my soul girlfriend! I’ll go weeks without it and feel great then convince myself why it’s ok to just have one little treat! That’s all it takes! ONE! Then I’m back to craving it! On this journey with you and thank you so much for sharing! 💗

Tammy, I'm so glad you did this. My husband's blood sugar spiked during Covid and I have gained weight. Dr. ordered keto for both of us. No fear of butter...lol. Me too! Perfect timing! My bubbly drink is La Croix naturally flavored coconut. Sooo good.

Hi Tammy,

This video could not have come at a better time. I’ve been addicted to sugar since I was a kid and I’m 62 now. This weekend I’m going to try to wean my self off of sugar. I’m in the process of getting rid of all the sweets in the house. Also, my mom is 86 years old and has congestive heart like your mom did. The hospital nutritionist told her the same thing about salt and sugar of which she replied that she doesn’t use salt. We had to actually show her labels to prove to her that processed foods contain higher amounts of salt and sugar. She understand its all, but she hasn’t changed anything.☹️ Anyway, I know cutting down and eventually cutting out sugar will certainly help reduce my inflammation and I’m hoping that I take off some of my quarantine weight that I’ve gained in the past year. Anyway, thank you so much for your advice and tips. I have saved this video to my library so that I can quickly reference it when I’m shopping for groceries. Hugs to to you.

Thanks, Tammy. I am a sugar/dessert addict too, but have been eating very similarly to you in the last few months. This weekend, however, while watching a tense movie I ate 5 of those little dark choc packets from Costco. It led me to move a toothbrush downstairs to our half bath off the kitchen and try the suggestion of Dr. Becky Gillaspy—right after dinner, brush your teeth instead of going for a sweet. The immediate taste change (and the desire to keep teeth clean!) will satisfy/trick you out of thinking you just NEED to have a sweet. (For me it works better than the chew-some -sugar-free-gum route.)
Looking forward to trying the SOLA breads! 🌸❤️

OA fellowship for almost 30 years . (Like AA but for food). Saved my life! Studies show that sugar is more addicting than many drugs!

I paused the video and ordered the breads for my mom. She did really good for 3 years after her heart attack but seems to be going back to old ways. So finding foods that can help her are worth it for me. I’ll spend whatever to have her with me as long as I can. Thank you Tammy. Love your videos

Hi Tammy
My name is Marie and I am also a sugar addict and the child of an alcoholic
Such a mind blowing aha moment
I remember binging on sweets as a child as an escape to console myself as to why my Father was not like everyone else’s, why he chose alcohol over his relationship with my beautiful angelic mother and why his focus was on socialising and drinking and not spending time with his children
Not a bad person an intelligent, humorous generous person but one that was consumed by addiction
The saying
Don’t blame your Parents for you adult life, they were probably broken when you got them
Comes to mind
Truth is these habits formed in our young lives are so hard to shake and the very affects of the sugar has left me almost delirious and unable to think straight to even consider my situation and make changes
My sister is in exactly the same position with all the remnants of our childhood
Your video has came at a pivotal time for me
I received a call from my doctor since I had blood work last week due to my bp meds no longer working and feeling stroke like symptoms, I am only 52
he told me I have 90 days to make huge improvements
My cholesterol level is at 8.9 and this cannot continue
Thank you for all the tips
Like you I follow through for everyone else my sons and other family members but sabotage myself with calorific sugar laden treats as a deathly reward
Thank you so much for this thought provoking revelational video it all makes perfect sense now X

Hi Tammy, I am Cheryl and I love sugar too! Embarrassed to say the end of last year I weighed the most weight in my life. Started clean low carb eating and Physical Therapy from health issues and walking. Down 40 pounds, much more to go. How I get out of control with sugar is having a coke a cola, then it is a couple more during the day. Then I start craving salty snacks, then the sweet snacks. Then bad food choices. So now I have updated most of my recipes and cook as clean as possible. Mostly drinking water, sometimes tea. Some days I feel really great, it is the days when the arthritis or fibro or vertigo are bad I really have to talk myself out of not having the bad things to eat. I am very grateful for the PT and that Minnesota is starting to warm up so I can walk outside. Hoping to get the ok to ride my bike this summer. Cold or snowy days I do Walk Away the Pounds videos or others I find online. Why do we sabotage ourselves? I follow through for others, just like you mentioned . Thank you for this video, take care and wish you great success on the low sugar journey 💖❤️

When I am having a sweet craving, I’ll brew a cup of flavored tea (chai, vanilla, cinnamon) add a few drops of stevia and the cravings subside.

Yep...a sugar addict too! 😩😩😩 the older I get the more sweets I seem to eat. For the past week and a half I’ve been visiting my son and daughter-in-law and new grandson and they eat clean and healthy so I’ve had nothing sweet except chocolate once a day. Hopeing to stick with it once I get back home. Also need to lose the COVID pounds I’ve put on the past year. Good luck everybody!! Love ya Tammy! 🥰🥰🥰
