The golden period of India was actually during the mediaeval period when major parts of India was ruled by the Gupta Dynasty. Europe was going through the dark ages back then. It was the time when the Roman empire got unmade into the Byzantine Empire and Constantinopole.
Even earlier during the ancient phase of history India was a superpower with the rule of the Maurya Dynasty around 322-185 BC. For reference in Europe it was the time of Plato, Aristotle etc in Greece. The Maurya were responsible for spreading Buddhism across Asia specially their most famous king Ashoka. His emblems and edicts are still there from that period and is also the national emblem of independent India.

Because of the famines that our ancestors had to suffers, most of the Indian people now have this evolved body in which we mostly have belly fat, despite eating less and being thin at other parts.

there's so much stuff this video left out, but they can't be blamed. I want to point out two such things - Indians were Forced into being indentured slaves for kabour on carribbeans and other islands. They also completely changed our education system.
