This is why I always say:
Dont be politically correct.
Be historically accurate.

If it's on tiktok, it's guaranteed to be awful and factually incorrect.

As an Indian man living in Britain, I can hate the tragedies the British empire ravaged upon India, but I would never hold it against modern day Britons

"We can literally dig up dirt on every single nation on Earth." This is a great line.

It takes a lot of balls to call people out on their bullshit, especially in today's times where everybody is rewritting history for their own purpose. Good job.

Remember that one lady who claimed that Ancient Rome didn’t exist, insulted a professor, and said that Greek and Latin are the same language? Also, could you consider doing a collaboration with Skallagrim since he’s also known to cover historical content on his channel? Thanks.

"I've Read" is the reason you are required to cite sources in Academia. Someone tell that Instagram guy a Buzzfeed article isn't to a contemporary source.

As a Pakistani, I can give proof that what that Tiktoker is saying is pure b.s, our education system teaches us the division of Subcontinent pretty well and why the partition happened, he just didn't pay attention.. anyways keep up the good work, History Legends, Love from Pakistan

As an American even we were taught about how important it Indian troops were to both the uk and to America in both world wars. My grandfather who fought in WW2 use to tell me about how much respect he had for the Indian fighters. He told me about how the Indians fighters that was stationed next to each other, and would share their food with each other and because of my grandfather being a Cajun they’d trade spices from the Indians for the ice cream the United States was sending to its troops. They never was a huge population of the Indian people here in New Orleans, but I think my grandfather knew every single one of them that did settle here because he would always make sure to seek them out and to welcome them here because of how much he really loved them

I feel bad for my boy Timur. He went through all the trouble of establishing one of the greatest empires from the ground up, killing tens of millions, having a higher k/d ratio than Hitler, nearly destroying the Ottomans, breaking the back of the golden horde, and then his descendants established the Mughal empire. But in the end, he became an obscure historical figure only known by history nerds.

As a German, you learn a lot about our history, back to the Roman War. How is it that a lot of other countries do not learn thier History?

His ancestors came to Britain voluntarily and now he hates his home country. He is British. He probably does not know how good he has it. I find people like this repulsive.

It never ceases to amaze me how many mental gymnastics people have to go through to call out white colonialism while COMPLETELY ignoring colonialism by Africa, the Middle East, Asia, etc.
And simultaneously creating a Eden-like fantasy about every situation that existed prior to the colonialism they are pointing out.

Great insight, unfortunately the people who make these tiktoks only care about surface level history and will never look into this, pushing hate and dividing us further.

Yeah .. prior to the arrival of the British the Kingdon of South East Asia..had everything... everyone lived in harmony with each other and nature.. people had Bengal tigers as pets and played cricket all day long and programed for google only 20 hours a week.. The jains, hindus and muslims all respected each other.. it was like paradise until... on one dark moon less night a British frigate arrived
