I kinda lost it but the song and scenes were perfection. I was so scared she would be killed and to see her levitated and seeing her life flash in front of her eyes…I lost it. But then she breaks free and runs like hell out of hell while that song was blasting. That scene was epic!!

The last 8-9 minutes of Season 4 Episode 4 were some of the best television I've seen in my 57 years on this Earth. This is one of my favorite '80s songs and combining it with the scene was simply great beyond words. Kudos to the Duffer brothers.

I am personally here because of Max Mayfield. Max’s episode was so fricking amazing. It was deep and emotional in all of the right ways. This song literally saved one of my favorite characters in Stranger Things. I literally love that show so much. The duffer brothers thought it out so well. Everything is perfectly calculated and formulated from top to bottom. I have never loved a show sm. I am so sad it ends at season five. Wtf

I have a very personal connection with this song.

When my uncle died my mother played this song and This Women's Work over and over for months.
Kate Bush became cemented in my mind with loss during this time, and I have had a hard time listening to these songs for a while.
Yes, I am a Stranger Things fan. I grew up with 80s music and pop culture all around me from my mother.

Though I have never experienced the loss of a sibling Dear Billy hit me like a brick because of my connection with this song, and my mother and uncle.

The writers, director, and Sadie did a phenomenal job at representing these feelings and the heart ache that one can feel from loss and survivors guilt this season. They took a fantastical world, where kids give monsters names based on a role playing game and grounded it to very real and raw emotions.

We live in an age where our media doesn't do this anymore. Time and time again our movies and shows give us nothing to think about or feel. The commercialization of entertainment has ruined the art form.

It takes real talent to do what the Stranger Things crew did here. Even without my own personal connection to this song, it was an amazing choice for Max.

I hope all the people who are listening for the first time because of Stranger Things hold on to this song and cherish it.
