It's interesting how much bigger everything looks in this game when it's out of the water. I had a ghost leviathan chase me to the surface one time and as soon as its head breached it suddenly struck me just how massive they are.

If you are on the surface of the water and get attacked by a reaper there is a jump scare which instantly kills you
